Hillegom Kermis Opens for Everyone
The Hillegom Kermis officially opens at 3:00 PM. However, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, visitors with disabilities can enjoy free entry. The fair offers a wide selection of rides and games. Thrilling rides such as the Booster and FreeStylepromise excitement. Families can also enjoy more relaxed attractions like Skee-ball or grab a bite from the many food stalls, including the Dutch poffertjes and Spanish churros.

Magical Evening with the Lichtjestocht
At 7:00 PM, the streets of Hillegom light up with the enchanting Lichtjestocht. This lantern-lit parade invites children to walk through town carrying their lanterns. Starting from the Hoftuin, they follow the music of the HHK Band as they parade through Hillegom’s charming streets. Prizes are awarded to those with the most creative costumes, whether they dress as superheroes, princesses, or clowns.
After the parade, children receive treats, making the Lichtjestocht a family-friendly highlight of the day.
Comedy Show at Café Murphy’s
If you’re looking for laughs, the Stand-up Comedy Show at Café Murphy’s starts at 8:00 PM. Hosted by Cristian Pielich, the show features a lineup of comedians, including Hank, Roos Vervelde, and the well-known Harry Glotzbach. Each comedian brings a unique style to the stage, promising an evening full of laughter.
Tickets cost €12.50 and are limited to just 80 seats, so be sure to book in advance.
Card Games at SV Hillegom
For card game lovers, Klaverjassen and Hartenjagen kick off at 8:00 PM. Taking place at SV Hillegom, both games offer participants a chance to win prizes. Entry costs €2.50, but with a friends mail, it’s only €1.25. Whether you prefer the strategic play of Klaverjassen or the excitement of Hartenjagen, the evening is sure to entertain.

The night wraps up with a Cocktail Evening at Het Alternatief, starting at 8:30 PM.
