De Meute – We hebben het Gezellig – Vier vriendinnen repeteren voor hun eindvoorstelling: Former classmates, colleagues and above all best friends, Melissa Lodder, Jip Wassenberg, Aniek Venhoeven and Lisa Schol, together known as the Meute, bring: We’re Having Fun, a new Dutch musical about (dis)friends. This comic musical is set during rehearsals for the annual final performance of a rather absurd amateur theatre group. What starts out as a promising and smooth process changes as the tension between the four friends mounts. Rusty frustrations and old hurts put the friendship on edge, and what seemed natural all these years threatens to collapse. Will they make it to the performance? Or has the curtain come down on everything they had together?
