Roel en Jos Maalderink – Verbroedering – Een actuele cabaretvoorstelling over de democratie die onder vuur ligt: Roel and Jos are brothers. People often find that hard to believe because they are so different from each other. Known from the satirical VPRO TV programme Plakshot, they now go into the theatre together for the first time with their cabaret show Verbroedering. Verbroedering is a topical cabaret show about democracy under attack, the climate going to shit and polarisation rising ever higher. How do we solve these problems of today? With hope or with pessimism? With adaptation or with staying yourself? With a wink or with a quip? In short: with Roel or with Jos! For seven seasons, Roel and Jos have been competing in Plakshot, now they are taking on each other in the theatre. Roel is extremely looking forward to it; Jos has never been in the theatre before and doubts whether it is a good idea.
